beautiful new place, very clean and pleasant, the music creates a quiet and familiar atmosphere, fresh croissants, large and buttery. the staff is friendly and polite. pastries are a delight. savory I took croissants with salmon, caviar and avocado, fabulous. the owner pays a lot of attention to the high quality of the products. highly recommended, it has become a place of heart.
I had the salmon avocado sandwich on their homemade brioche bread, paired with a perfectly brewed coffee, and finished with their heavenly honey cake. Everything was unbelievably fresh and bursting with flavor. The brioche was soft and buttery, the salmon perfectly balanced with creamy avocado, and the honey cake was rich yet light. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. A must-visit spot for anyone in Chicago!
This place is an absolute treat! The pastries are next-level — flaky, buttery, and full of flavor. I had the pistachio croissant and a latte, and both were perfection. The café is cozy, beautifully designed, and the staff is super kind. Great spot for breakfast, coffee dates, or just treating yourself to something sweet. Can’t wait to come back!
Cozy Spot with Amazing Coffee and Friendly atmosphere! I visited The Sweet&Salt Cafe for the first time and was immediately charmed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. With my husband we ordered Americano and Cappuccino and it was one of the best coffees we've had in a long time—perfectly brewed and with a rich, smooth flavor. Avocado toast was delicious 🤤!!! The flavors in each dish were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service!!! I appreciate that the staff was able to make recommendations from the menu! However, the quality of the coffee and baked goods, combined with the welcoming vibe, makes it a place I'll definitely be returning to. It's a great spot for a relaxed morning or a quick, high-quality coffee break.
We’ve made it a little tradition to come here for breakfast almost every Sunday. The atmosphere is cozy, the coffee is always great, and the staff are warm and welcoming. It’s the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy the morning. We truly love this place!

I tried almost everything on the menu this weekend, and I’d like to highlight each item I tasted. ☕ Coffee — aromatic, smooth, with a rich, well-balanced flavor. 🍊 Orange Espresso Tonic — absolutely amazing! It was my first time trying this coffee drink, and it was delightful. 🥭 Mango Matcha Latte — incredibly tasty. They use real mango purée instead of syrup, which gives it an amazing natural flavor! 🥐 Croissants — pure bliss! I’ve never had better croissants — fresh, fluffy, and generously filled. My favorite was the pistachio croissant. 🍰 Mousse desserts — very delicious and delicate, perfectly balanced in sweetness. 🍥 Cinnamon rolls — finger-licking good! 🥗 For lunch, we ordered Pulled Pork, Salmon Croissant with avocado and egg, Lasagna, and Tuna Sandwich — everything was absolutely delicious. The portions are large enough.
Cute cafe up in Lincoln Park. All the pastries looks amazing. Ended up trying the blueberry bun which was good and not overly sweet. the mango matcha wasn’t my favorite, but the tiramisu latte i would definitely come back for
I’m visiting Chicago and was looking for a spot where I could comfortably work, grab lunch, and enjoy a good cup of coffee — Sweet & Salt turned out to be exactly what I needed. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which immediately sets the tone for a great experience. The food is delicious, the coffee is solid, and the overall vibe is just perfectly chill. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in, focus, and feel right at home. Highly recommend!
First off the food is here is absolutely fabulous. I’ve had the cinnamon roll and the croissant and both are special in their own unique ways. The service is also great. I left my latte on the table while I went to go wash my hands and someone threw it away, they remade it immediately! I will be back
